Skincare, Makeup & Haircare Product Reviews
Because I have a Beauty Care Diploma, I love to try out the latest and best skincare products and share them with the people I care about. Be sure to check back often and discover what I've found!
Drunk Elephant has a cult following and is endorsed by estheticians, one of whom is a close friend of mine. What makes this product so special is one ingredient estheticians swear by for reducing deep wrinkles, copper peptides. Copper peptides should be in every woman's skincare products, especially after age 40. Drunk Elephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum also reduces the unsightly dark circles so common after menopause. This product is currently recognized as the best on the market for targeting that. I found mine at Sephora for $79.00.
This powerhouse serum from The Ordinary is called "Buffet" for good reason. It is a multi-technology peptide serum full of ingredients that target the multiple signs of aging all at once with a variety of copper peptides, a postbiotic complex and it's base of 11 skin-friendly amino acids and multiple forms of hyaluronic acid. It doesn't get better than that ladies! If you add it to your moisturizer twice a day you should notice visible improvements in your skin in no time. For what it does I think it's a bargain at $33.70!
I'm a huge fan of Eminence Organic skincare and have been using it for years. It's full of the good things found in nature like pomegranates, strawberries, acai berries and neroli and most of the products smell amazing. Their Organic & Biodynamic Facial Recovery Oil has won eight awards and is one of the best products you can use to keep deep wrinkles at bay and give your skin supreme hydration and toning. It contains clary sage oil, olive oil, sage leaf extract and ylang ylang nourishing oils specially formulated for sensitive and aging skin. Find it at better spas or online. $79.00
