Defining "Street Style".
In case you're not familiar with the term, you're probably already wearing it, especially if you live in North America or Europe. The climate that far north causes people to dress down a lot, especially in the dead of winter. Street style is everyday wear. You know, the types of things you wear at home a lot. The difference is, you can wear it outdoors now. That's the trend.
Street style is everything you relax in, and more. I've seen pajama bottoms and satin slips outdoors. The trick to it is in layering. Pile it on. Thick and thin. Shirts and sweaters, skirts and leggings, socks and chunky boots, belts on wraps. Add a toque or floppy hat. Large tote or winged handbag.
The great thing about street style is it's natural. It's whatever. Coordinating colour isn't an issue. Total comfort is the order of the day here.
It just doesn't get easier than that!
